Scale

Through the Reasonable Diet program you will learn that having a weekly weigh-in will help you learn to NOT be obsessed with the scale. The number on the scale is simply ONE way to assess and guide your week. The number on the scale will be one component that will guide you toward your plan for the next week.

In-office
Step on the scale before each meeting – or -- for your convenience on the “official” scale available weekdays from 9 am - 5pm.

and/or
Log into a the Member Forum and record your weight progress each week.

Sandra I’ll monitor your progress and help you keep a realistic expectation about your rate of weight loss. You’ll get suggestions, motivation, encouragement, information and ideas to help you find the right actions to make the weight loss at the scale match your goals.


As you participate in the RD program you’ll learn that accountability is more than stepping on a scale in front of someone. It is about learning to stay “checked-in” even when your actions cause you to want to “check-out”. This doesn’t mean perfection. It means you learn to have honest conversations with yourself. That starts with having honest conversations with me and other RD member/partners.

Me: I’ll teach you how to WRAP. Learning to make your weekly plan is the keystone of staying checked in. You ARE GOING TO PEACEFULLY lose weight learning how to WRAP!

Me: I’ll operate a RD Forum online that has a page devoted to each “partner.” This page is available for every partner to see so that they can offer support also. If you attend the call or in-office meeting, I or one of my trained assistants will write a personal progress note on your commitment and progress toward your current weekly plan. This will help with accountability and motivation between meetings.

You

You: Each week (unless you are on vacation/away from your computer routine) you will report in telling how you did toward your weekly goals and confirming your plan for the next week.


You

Support each other: make suggestions, offer help, share food ideas and recipes or just say “good job” or “hang in there” to at least one other RD Partner. Your free membership will be reliant on at least one “reply” to someone else’s WRAP sheet each week. This requirement is waived if you are on vacation or away from your regular computer usage. (If you are unsure about your ability to use the computer for this or do not have a computer please email me.)
